The Sami Cultural Centre Sajos, located on the shores of the Juutuanjoki River, is the administrative and cultural centre of the Finnish Sami people. Sajos is an interesting, dynamic, multicultural venue. Sajos is also a congress centre and meeting venue.
The music festival of the indigenous people, Ijahis Idja, is held in Sajos every August. The inaugural event took place in the village of Inari in 2004.
