In the far North, winter begins in November with a mystical period of darkness, when the sun remains below the horizon. Twilight is an excellent time for observing and filming the Northern Lights. From November, the snow is already part of the décor and that is when all the winter activities start. Enjoy skiing in the twilight or head to the illuminated ski pistes and slopes. Twilight is also a great time for nature trips on sleds pulled by reindeer or dogs.
The sun will not rise above the horizon and the sky glows in blue and violet hues, the Northern Lights blaze and the snow is soft and pure.
