It is time to celebrate New Year and the change of the decade! In Inari-Saariselkä one can celebrate in many ways. Fireworks will be seen at midnight both in Inari and in Saariselkä.

ICEPARK INARI x New Year’s Celebration

Inari Icepark warmly welcomes everyone to celebrate the New Year’s Eve among some cool tunes and stunning ice sculptures on the 31st of December at 17.30-21.00 o’clock!

The ice sculptures come to life through story by visual artist Merja Aletta Ranttila combined with dance and movement by Zuzana Skálová
18.00-21.00 DJ SUNNA MAARET & UYARAKQ
Local DJs Sunna Maaret and Uyarakq will come serve festive, icy, Indigenous tunes for you; get your snowpants and dance shoes ready to enjoy some igloo music AKA house music from Greenland combined with nostalgic hits.

Head to Hotel Inari, Pub Rantsu for a New Year Eve’s party. Live music starting at 10:30PM with local musician Hanna K. She will make sure that the excitement rises to the ceiling before midnight! At midnight there will be fireworks at Hotel Inari shore. Free entrance.

New Year celebrations at Saariselkä

At the ski slopes of Ski Saariselkä New Year is celebrated by torch ride, music and fireworks.

Channel Four takes over the dance floor of Santa’s Hotel Tunturi at 8 pm. At Lapland Hotels Riekonlinna a troubadour Jarkko Klemetti entertains from 9 pm on.

Northern Lights Village launches one of the biggest fireworks in Finland again this New Year sharp at midnight. Bar is open late, and restaurant serves hot New Years Drinks, food and music. Reserve a table at: sales@nlv.fi or +358164691200.
