Daily scheduled riverboats travel from the Njurkulahti villages via the Ravadas waterfalls to Kultala at Lemmenjoki. You can take the scheduled boat for a day trip to the Ravadas falls and Ravadas wilderness refuge, where it is possible to prepare food. You can also take the boat to Kultala at Lemmenjoki, which used to be the Lemmenjoki gold-digging centre in the 1940s and 1950s. There is a great network for hiking and wilderness refuges in Lemmenjoki for use by hikers.
Chartered riverboat cruises are also offered in the summer. Join us on a riverboat trip, which takes you to the Ravadas Falls or a guided gold panning expedition into the legendary Lemmenjoki goldfields.
The Lemmenjoki riverboat cruises take you to the Lemmenjoki National Park and the beautiful scenery of the goldfields.
